From Friday 23 - Saturday 24 August at London’s Business Design Centre, The Black Ballad Weekender is a two-day lifestyle festival jam-packed with inspiring talks, workshops, shopping, food and more.
Celebrating 10 years of Black Ballad and their work creating spaces that put Black women first, this powerful event centring Black womanhood is a place to meet new connections, share stories and celebrate sisterhood.

Across the weekend, hear from 100 influential Black women. Whether it’s a keynote talk or an interview panel, you’ll get to learn from influencer and celebrity minds such as author and presenter Candice Brathwaite, journalist Nadine White, and Courtney and Renée from the To My Sisters podcast.
2. You can get your shopping haul on at the curated marketplace
Black Ballad Weekender’s marketplace features an exciting retail space of Black-owned businesses and mass market brands - whether it’s beauty or homeware, get ready to pick up some treats.
