There’s nowhere better than London in summer – and the East End is bringing the feel-good vibes with its new events destination…
Imagine a bar that hosts exclusive sunset DJ sessions, supper clubs, live entertainment and more, with the best food, cocktails and soft-serve thrown into the mix?
Sounds like the ideal summer weekend spot – and it happens to be the brainchild of Oatly and Malibu, who are bringing an all-new events destination to Shoreditch this summer.
The two super brands have joined forces to create Paradise Arches: an all-new day-to-night venue that’s serving up the best grub and better vibes from 12 July to 2 August, open 12pm-2am Thursday-Sunday.
With a range of ticketed events, and free entry to the terrace for complimentary soft-serve, it’s the fun crossover we didn’t know we needed – here are all the reasons why Paradise Arches needs to be on your weekend hit list this month…
Head to Paradise Arches for: exclusive DJ sets
Pxssy Palace, the famous QTBIPOC club night, are heading to Paradise Arches for a sunset DJ set on Friday 19 July.
You can also expect an appearance from infamous south London DJ collective, Prestige Pak, on Saturday 20 July, who are hosting an all-day event celebrating the best of global club music – from dancehall and garage to reggaeton, amapiano and beyond.
Head to Paradise Arches for: the best grub
Oatly and Malibu have come together to birth the ‘Piña Oatlada’ – an alcoholic, piña colada-flavoured dairy-free soft serve ice cream – and Paradise Arches is the place to get your hands on it this summer.
Visit the bar and you’ll receive a complimentary Piña Oatlada – and there are also great foodie options on site from Victoria Park Market favourites Zest Kitchen to fried chicken from Facing Heaven.
And if you’re after brunch with a twist, you can secure tickets to Paradise Arches’ exclusive Hip Hop Brunch: on Sunday 21 July, from 1pm, you can expect an hour of bottomless brunching, with vegan sushi from Happy Maki, as DJs spin non-stop hip-hop and R&B tunes.
Head to Paradise Arches for: awesome live entertainment
With 16 nights of pure fun, Paradise Arches is bringing it all to Shoreditch this month.
Our favourites include Ginger’s Big Drag Bingo on Friday 26 July, where the famous drag superstars of the Party With Ginger collective bring live DJs, drag performances, party anthems, dance-offs, prizes and more to Paradise Arches.
And Paradise Arches’ Closing Party on 2 August with Bitten Peach is one not to miss: an evening that begins with a Pan–Asian market, followed by a cabaret show (and plenty of Piña Oatlada).
Head to Paradise Arches for: serotonin-boosting fitness classes
Paradise Arches might be a bar and performance venue at night, but it’s a haven of tranquillity in the hustle and bustle of Shoreditch come morning.
Oatly x Malibu are hosting a range of fun fitness classes during their residency – you can choose from Ass & Abs or Pilates with Studio Frame.
Get your morning workout in on your commute to work – and cool down with a complimentary virgin Piña Oatlada post-session.
Head to Paradise Arches for: exciting supper clubs
If you’re looking to mix up your evenings, Oatly x Malibu are hosting multiple Supper Club events this month at Paradise Arches and they’re the perfect way to gather together a group of your friends and meet new people.
Mam Sham, curators of London’s most exciting high-concept events, are bringing a Supper Club evening of food, comedy and creativity to Paradise Arches on 18 July. Expect three courses by three different chefs, inspired by three comedy acts – and lots of belly-aching laughs.
And Original Flava are hosting their Supper Club with a Caribbean-inspired menu on 25 July – you’ll also get to enjoy bottomless rum punch and complimentary Piña Oatlada soft serve on the night.
Head to Paradise Arches for: IRL speed dating
If you’re growing disillusioned with the digital dating scene (who isn’t?) Paradise Arches’ exclusive speed dating sessions will be a tonic.
Sprung, the match-making experts, are bringing a new kind of speed dating to Shoreditch: one that focuses on building genuine, meaningful connections and stepping out of digital safe zones.
