In the midst of planning your wedding and can't find the right venue? Perhaps The Stanley hotel, which inspired Stephen King to write The Shining , might be the ideal spot.
The establishment, located in Estes Park, Colorado, first opened in 1909 and due to its popularity, in part due to King's novel, the owners have decided to build a pavilion on its grounds for wedding and corporate functions.
There is one small snag though, in order to complete the expansion, they will have to move the pet cemetery (!) that's located in the grounds.
If you like that kind of stuff, you go ahead. That said, if we get an invite, we might have to decline.
