The UK is packed with food and drinks festivals happening up and down the country, and it’s made us very excited for the upcoming summer season.
Foodies, rejoice: summer is (hopefully) just around the corner and that means sun on your skin, an Aperol spritz in your hand and lots of al fresco dining. However, it can be tricky to navigate the UK’s food and drink scene, especially when we have so much choice. And that’s the beauty of a festival – taking a lot of this choice in putting it all in one place.
Luckily, the UK is packed with food and drinks festivals taking place up and down the country, and it’s made us very excited about the upcoming summer season. So, we’ve rounded up some of the most delicious food and drink festivals happening in 2024 – all you need to do is pack your sunnies.

Foodies Festival
Now with 14 festivals across the UK from May until September, Foodies Festival is a celebration of local food and drink, putting top local chefs at the heart of the festival. It gives them the chance to demonstrate their cooking skills to an audience, who can then take the recipes home with them. Foodies Festival also celebrates good music, and this year’s lineup including Sister Sledge and Peter Andre.
Pub In The Park
Created by chef Tom Kerridge, Pub In The Park is made up of a series of festivals across several UK locations that celebrates “everything there is to love about the glorious British pub”. The festival combines tasty food (including a demo stage for chefs), award-winning chefs, live music and lots of drinks. Locations include Marlow, Chiswick, Reigate and St Albans, and the festivities run from May until September.
London Restaurant Festival
London Restaurant Festival is a city-wide celebration of the London restaurant scene and has been for the last 14 years. This summer, it’s kicking off its festival season with Food Fest at POP Brixton on 31 May.

The Yorkshire Dales Food & Drink Festival
If you fancy a camping festival packed with lots of food, drink and music, look no further than the Yorkshire Dales. This festival is one of the biggest food events in the UK and runs from 19–21 July at Funkirk Farm. You can expect workshops, masterclasses and a range of cuisines to tuck into this summer.
Rock Oyster
In the rolling hills of north Cornwall, you can feast on dishes by some of the UK’s top chefs whilst also enjoying the music of the Sugababes, the Human League, Bombay Bicycle Club and loads more. There are also more cultural events you can attend at the festival, including book readings, comedy shows and quizzes. Rock Oyster will take place at Dinham House on 25–28 July.
Big Feastival
Taking place on Alex James’s Cotswolds farm, Big Feastival brings together music from the UK’s biggest artists, Michelin star chefs, award-winning street food and a range of family activities. So, if you’re looking for August bank holiday weekend plans, this one’s for you.
Taste Of London
Every summer, Taste Of London takes over Regent’s Park for a food-fuelled garden party in the centre of one of the busiest cities on earth. Taking place between 12–16 June, some of the tastiest and trendiest restaurants come together to throw a festival celebrating all things food, drink and having a good old time.
