Eurostar launches it’s new service from London to Amsterdam, selling thousands of tickets for £35.
Jetting off on holiday is always a great feeling, but managing to bag an affordable last-minute deal is even better.
Which is why Eurostar has announced it’s selling £35 tickets for a seat on their new route from London to Amsterdam.
From visiting the Anne Frank House and the Van Gogh Museum to hopping on a bike and cycling everywhere, the cultural city of Amsterdam sure does have a whole lot to offer tourists.
Launching on the 4 April, the service will run from London St. Pancras to Amsterdam’s Centraal Station in 3 hours and 41 minutes. The route will depart from London twice a day at 8.31am and 5.31pm.
“The launch of our service to the Netherlands represents an exciting advance in cross-Channel travel and heralds a new era in international high speed rail. With direct services from the UK to the Netherlands, France and Belgium, we are transforming the links between the UK and three of Europe’s top trading nations,” says Nicolas Petrovic, chief executive of Eurostar.
“Our new route marks the culmination of the extensive investment in high speed rail on both sides of the Channel. With £1 billion investment in our new state-of-the-art trains and enhanced connectivity on the European network passengers can now enjoy fast, seamless rail connections between the UK and mainland Europe and a transformed travel experience.”
On your return journey back to the capital, a changeover will be made at Brussels for necessary passport and security checks to take place.
