Some of us dream (usually on a Monday morning or some idle evening) of leaving our high-flying careers behind for something, well, less demanding and a little more peaceful. Something like… cat sitting or dog walking.

Enter: God’s Little Cat Rescue.

God’s Little People Cat Rescue, a cat sanctuary on the beautiful Greek island of Syros, is currently looking for someone to take care of its 55 cats.

That’s right: 55 cats and kittens to hang out with all day – and pick up a pay cheque for it at the end of the month. 

And it gets better. Not only do you get to play with cats all day long on an exotic island, but the position also comes with fully paid accommodation, private garden, a car and a 4-hour working day.

According to the job advert on LinkedIn, the job is longterm and will require a minimum of six months and a volunteer period at the beginning (a small price to pay for a dreamy job). The candidate must be “robust, responsible, reliable, honest & practically inclined individual with basic IT skills”. And all you have to ensure is that the cats are fed, cared for and given their medicine.
