There’s nothing we love more than a bargain, particularly when said bargain involves a cheap flight that will see us jetting out of the UK and on our way to an infinitely more exotic location.
And if you’re looking to book a last-minute summer holiday, a weekend minibreak or an I’m-in-denial-about-autumn, get-me-some-sunshine-immediately jaunt, a low-cost flight can make all the difference to your holiday/Aperol Spritz budget.
While websites such as Skyscanner are a good place to start for airline price comparisons, it’s always useful to have some expert advice on hand to really whittle down the bargains.
Which is why we’re now hooked on a weekly newsletter that promises to find you the cheapest possible flights to a variety of enticing destinations.
Jack’s Flight Club was founded by a self-proclaimed “flight hacking ninja” who is (unsurprisingly) called Jack, and promises to hunt down “the best flight deals around”, including “discounts, hidden offers and error fares”.
All flights depart from the UK and Ireland and are for international destinations.
Recent bargains discovered by the site include London to Los Angeles for £199, Dublin to Vancouver for £236 and London to Tokyo for £248.
Even better, the site offers its weekly newsletter for free, with an upgraded version (including more regular updates and first dibs on the best deals) costing £35 per year.
Explaining how he manages to find the bargains, Jack writes on the website, “Over the years I’ve also worked out how to use certain flight matrix systems, which are advanced airfare search and pricing tools.
I search these and other ends of the web, to bring you the best deals. Whenever a new deal becomes available, I learn of it first and share it with you.”
Jack himself has been to 43 countries and counting, and always travels by what he describes as “ridiculously cheap” flights.
“I just think people should be able to see the world and explore new places on any budget,” he adds.
