Samurai Beach, Australia
Located next to the One Mile Beach and the National Parks of Tomaree, Samurai Beach is a little off the beaten track, but well worth the journey.
With sand dunes that stretch on for miles in idyllic pools and sunsets that glow in pink and lilac, this is an exceptionally beautiful place to feel completely free.
Location: Samurai Beach Track, Fingal Bay NSW 2315, Australia.
Spiaggia di Guvano, Italy
This is one of three gorgeous beaches in Corniglia, and arguably the most famous thanks to its legendary popularity with naturists. As the story goes, a cosmopolitan naturist group adopted the beach as their favourite hang out back in the 1970s, which is where its nudist roots originate from.
The secluded shape of the bay is said to make it even more appealing for those who prefer not to wear clothes, as does its crystal blue waters of course.
Location: Guvano Beach, 19018 Vernazza, SP, Italy.
Paradise Beach, Mykonos
Mykonos is known for being not only a stunning corner of the world, but for its thriving party atmosphere and inclusive scene, where plenty of people make the most of the optional clothes rule.
Around the edges of Paradise Beach you’ll find cafes, restaurants and bars that start to come alive post 4pm, so don’t head here if you fancy a peaceful escape.
Location: Paradise Beach Club, Kalamopodi, Mykonos 84600, Greece.
Gunnison Beach, New Jersey
This is the largest nude beach on the East Coast and being located at the National Parks system and next to NYC, means it has some spectacular views of Brooklyn and the Verrazano Bridge.
Regulars comment on the beach’s ability to boost the confidence of those who go, praising it for attracting people of all shapes and sizes and the good vibes at this particularly popular spot. Being so popular, though, means it gets very busy in the summer so it’s recommended you go early.
Location: Gunnison Beach, Monmouth County, Sandy Hook National Recreation Area, Sandy Hook, NJ 07732
Little Beach, Maui
Possibly the most paradisaical beach on the list, Little Beach in Maui looks like it’s come straight from your Wanderlust board on Pinterest.
The vibe is relaxed and friendly, with everyone and anyone coming along to enjoy the bright blue water and sunshine yellow sand, sans clothing.
Location: Little Beach, Wailea Alanui Rd., Makena State Park, Wailea, Maui, HI
