Think of this new stage at Stylist Live 2023 as the destination for zeitgeisty conversations and discussions on the current world of work.

This year, Google is joining us at Stylist Live, and with them comes the Work Life stage, hosting a wealth of incredible talent across the weekend. The stage will be located on the ground floor amongst the buzz of the marketplace.

In a world where the definition of a ‘career path’ is in a constant state of flux, it’s important that we equip ourselves with the skills and knowledge to adapt.

From giving you the skills you need to tackle challenging conversations to discovering the ways that AI can help you in the workplace, there will be 12 talks on this stage across the weekend covering a wide range of themes, all designed to educate and inspire. There will be BSL interpreters present at both stages throughout the weekend.

Here’s your first look at the speakers joining us on this new stage from 10-12 November at The Truman Brewery.

Friday 10 November

Opening the stage on Friday will be Dr Nerina Ramlakhan, a physiologist and energy expert addressing burnout at work and the exhaustion gap; hear from award-winning journalist Madhumita Murgia on how to take AI in your stride at work; join workplace expert Bruce Daisley for a conversation on thriving in the hybrid workspace; and entrepreneurs, March Muses will be sharing their insights into identifying gaps in the market and launching a new business that soars.

Saturday 11 November

Saturday will start with productivity coach Juliet Landau-Pope sharing her expertise on productivity and procrastination; followed by business owner and inclusion specialist Tskenya-Sarah Frazer on how to overcome challenges as female entrepreneurs; fashion psychologist Shakaila Forbes-Bell tells us how to truly be yourself at work; and negotiation trainer, Simon Horton will give us a 20-minute masterclass in asking for what you deserve at work.

Sunday 12 November

We’re kicking off the last day of Stylist Live with executive coach, Russell Amerasekera who will be helping us have difficult conversations; followed by author Viv Grosksop on how to build your confidence toolkit and BBC journalist Ros Atkins will let us in on the five secrets to successful communication. We’ll close with writer Tobi Asare who will be helping us navigate the motherhood work penalty.

On top of all this, if you fancy upskilling in a certain area, you can enrol on a Google Careers Certificate course for free by signing up at the Google stand.

Plus, don’t forget that the main stage will be packed with even more talent to entertain us all throughout the weekend.

You can still get £10 off VIP and 20% off general admission tickets until 1 November, so make sure to purchase a ticket while there are still discounts available. Your ticket grants you access to eight different talks. This is across the main stage and our new Work Life stage with Google.
