For my 30th birthday I was lucky enough to get A.P.C’s Edith bag, and I now pretty much always carry this when I’m going on a night out. It’s the perfect bag for fitting in your purse, keys, mobile and any make-up you might need plus any other extras, not to mention it suits practically any outfit. Now, as it’s getting warmer, I always pack my sunglasses too – classic Ray-Ban wayfarers. Other essential items include reading material.

Living in London means I’m bound to end up on public transport longer than I think, so I pack my Kindle. I only bought one last year but it’s been one of the best investments I ever made – I’m currently reading Elizabeth Is Missing by Emma Healey. I also packed Rodial’s Glam Balm as it’s a multi-purpose product, brilliant for face, lips and hands, Origins KissZing lip crayon in Peach Peck, and Cheeky’s lip and cheek stain, which also has a brilliant mirror for when I’m on the go. Finally, I also included Lea Calf Hair Leopard print shoes, which I slipped on for my evening out.
