Like most women, I carry my life in my handbag. So, investing in the most lightweight bag I could find has been a godsend for me, and my shoulders. My handbag essentials include these huge Sennheiser headphones which block out city chatter, and subsequently are a must-have - despite their ostentatious nature. While I have finally succumbed to the Kindle, I am never without an actual, real book – in this case the superb ‘The Opposite of Loneliness’ by Marina Keegan. My black Moleskine notebook and calendar belie my digital role but I can’t bring myself to have every part of my life on a screen. My Cowshed make-up carrier contains the jumble lip balms, hair ties, brushes and chewing gum that used to be strewn across the bottom layer! Finally my UGG Sandrinne calf hair scales, always a must-have for switching out of heels into something comfortable yet stylish.
