Gal Gadot – who will be unleashing her warrior princess in this year’s hugely anticipated Wonder Woman film – has announced the birth of her second child.
The actor shared the news on Instagram with her 3.9 million followers, posting a black-and-white photograph of her family to the site.
She captioned it simply: “And then we were four.”

Gadot went on to add: “I feel so completely blessed and thankful for all the wonders in my life.”
She also revealed her newborn daughter’s name: Maya.
The name Maya – as we previously revealed in our article about the most popular baby names in Denmark – is a Scandinavian one, traditionally spelled as Maja.
It traditionally means “of the palm tree”, although some have interpreted it as meaning “love” or “illusion”.
The 31-year-old and her husband, Yaron Versano, are already parents to daughter Alma, who was born in 2011.
And Gadot, who announced her pregnancy in November last year, has said that she took on the role of Wonder Woman as a way of providing her daughters (and little girls everywhere) with a strong female role model.
“I just had a conversation with my daughter, Alma, and she was saying something about the prince she saw in Sleeping Beauty and she was saying he's brave and he's strong,” she told Entertainment Weekly. “And I said what about the princess and she said, she's weak. And I said, what do you think of that?
“She's four, my daughter. And she said, she shouldn't be weak. And I said why do you think she's weak, and she said, she's sleeping the entire movie and the prince comes and kisses her and saves her. She didn't do anything.”
Gadot added: “I feel that I've got the opportunity to set a great role model for girls to look up to a strong, active, compassionate, loving, positive woman and I think it's so important.
“It's about time that somebody will do that and I'm very privileged and honoured to be the one.”
