Former Disney chief Michael Eisner says funny, beautiful women are 'impossible to find' in Hollywood. 

 "Usually, unbelievably beautiful women, you being an exception, are not funny," Eisner told Goldie Hawn, at a recent Q&A session in Aspen, Colorado.

Suffice to say, we disagree. 

But instead of embarking on an expletive-laden rant about the sheer, mind-blowing stupidity and narrow-mindedness of Hollywood execs (will they EVER learn?), we've decided to let women do the talking for themselves.

Here are 12 famous women frequently described as "bombshell", "pin-up" and "beauty icon"  - who just so happen to be laugh-out-loud hilarious too. Try not to be distracted by their "youthful glow" as you howl in the aisles...

"Stunning red head" Isla Fisher has us all in stitches with a hefty dose of hair-whipping and a voracious sexual appetite in 2005 comedy Wedding Crashers. 

Grace Kelly's "rare" brand of "icy" beauty has little to do with her comedy gold turn as a spoilt heiress in 1956 film High Society. 

"Flawless" Jennifer Aniston whom we all know to "age so well" flaunts her subtle comic timing to perfection in a Friends rendition of Baby Got Back. 

Julia Roberts - aka "one of the world's most beautiful women" - puts dignity to the wind with her squawky singalong to Prince in 1990's Pretty Woman. 

"Sculptured beauty icon" Grace Jones delivers one of the funniest one-liners ever as  supermodel Strangé in 1992 comedy Boomerang ("You are going to turn down a pussy like this").

She may have won an Oscar for a more serious film but we believe "blonde bombshell" Reese Witherspoon deserves it just as much for her killer performance as Elle in hit 2001 comedy Legally Blonde. 

Little wonder "sultry" Penelope Cruz won a best supporting actress Academy Award for her brilliant turn as a tempestuous artist (and lover to real-life husband Javier Bardem) in 2008 film Vicky Cristina Barcelona. 

This scene from 1957 film Funny Face has little to do with Audrey Hepburn's much-touted "timeless beauty" and all to do with her magnificent comic presence and ability to throw herself into a role with hilarious gusto. 

"Knockout" and "voluptuous" star Sofia Vergara is the comedy gift that keeps on giving in Modern Family, making us howl continually at the antics of Gloria's larger than life character - and less-than-tuneful singing voice...

The "gorgeous" and "sexy" Lucy Liu delivers a laugh a minute as she dons a leather suit and whip for a "stimulating innovation" talk with a group of technicians in 2000 blockbuster Charlie's Angels. 

"Flirty blonde" Alicia Silverstone is at her zenith as Cher, a character she infuses with ditzy humour, in 1995's Clueless. 

Few actresses would agree to having a certain substance daubed on their ear for the sake of comedy - even if it is pretend - so kudos to Cameron Diaz for going for it anyway, and creating one of the most hilarious movie moments of all-time in the process.
