Pippa Middleton has given her first TV interview, and admitted she hasn't enjoyed all the attention she gained after the Royal Wedding in 2011.
In an interview with the US programme Today with host Matt Lauer, Pippa spoke about her role in Prince William and Kate Middleton's wedding, and her life since.

The party planner opened up about going from a "'very normal life to managing everything that happened after the wedding", and says she didn't ever anticipate the impact of her appearance that day "I didn't realize, perhaps, the scale of it until afterwards."
Possibly referring to reactions to her book Celebrate, which was launched to a less popular than anticipated reaction and her six-month stint as a columnist in the Daily Telegraph, Pippa said she felt "publicly bullied" and that she was surprised by the fact that "whichever way someone looks at it, it's a negative side."
Speaking of the Royal Wedding, she said "we saw it as just a family wedding. We all took on the the roles as any family would. Even walking through the Abbey, I didn't see the TV cameras, so to me it was just performing in front of a lot of people, not necessarily the whole world."
It was only upon greeting the crowds from the balcony at Buckingham Palace that she began to "feel surreal."
Pippa also revealed that she had no idea how much of a furore her figure hugging bridesmaid dress would cause. "It was completely unexpected. The plan was not for it to be a significant dress and to just blend in with the train."
The dress is now hanging in her wardrobe at home, and Pippa says "I think I'll just keep it there until somebody wants to see it".
She has recently completed the Race Across America challenge with her brother, James Middleton, in aid of the British Heart Foundation and The Michael Matthews Foundation, named after a British explorer who died on Mount Everest aged 22.
It is clear the Middletons are very close, as Pippa revealed she still has "a very normal, sisterly relationship" to her sister Kate Middleton, despite the hectic schedule being the Duchess of Cambridge brings about. "Obviously she has pressures that she's taken on and things. But we spend a lot of time together. We still do a lot together as a family."
