Naomi Campbell famously hails from Streatham in South London, and she was happy to show us around her favourite haunts in nearby Brixton in a newly released video to accompany a recent photoshoot with Vogue.

The video accompanies Naomi's photoshoot in this month's issue of Vogue, and goes behind the scenes as she shoots at the Photofusion suite on Electric Lane.

Filmed by Bruce Weber, the film also stars Naomi's close friend, Tunisian couturier and shoe designer Azzedine Alaïa and Naomi showed the crew around her old haunts.

In between shots of Naomi and her protegees posing on the photoshoot, we see her shopping for hair products, checking out a record store and meeting locals around Coldharbour Lane, as well as getting a glimpse of some touching snaps of a younger Naomi in her South London home.

So where does Naomi Campbell like to go? In short: Brixton Village. We see her picking out hot sauce ("the best is Scotch Bonnet") greeting the manager of famous fishmonger's Dagons, posing in front of a shop shutter with a graffiti mural of David Bowie and John Lennon, then eating pizza at Agile Rabbit and testing melons at a market stall. She also greets the owners of local boutiques and visits the famous Blacker Dreads record store.

The video also shows shots of a younger Naomi at school

She poses with the gathering crowds of fans, as well as some shop proprietors - the owner of Blacker Dreads was clearly surprised to see her, asking the crew if he can get a copy of the photographs of himself with the world famous model.

We also get to meet her mother and grandmother, with whom Naomi shares a tender cuddle, and see shots of a younger Ms Campbell. There's even a sneak peek of her school pictures and even end-of-term reports. Bless.
