We were recently joined for a lunchtime masterclass with Lisa O'Donnell, screenwriter and debut novelist.

Lisa started out in PR. She won the Orange Screenwriting Prize in 2000 for her black comedy The Wedding Gift. She has also been nominated for the Dennis Potter Screenwriters Award and the ASA International Screenwriting Award, and used to write for Hollyoaks.

Recently Lisa took a break from screenwriting when she moved to LA with her husband and their two children.

Her debut novel The Death Of Bees is out this month and tells the story of two sisters who fend for themselves after burying their parents in the back garden of their Scotland home.

This web chat is now closed but you can read all the questions posed to Lisa and her answers in the transcript, below.
