More and more celebrities are opting to announce big news via their social media accounts, and Kelly Rowland is no different.

Yesterday she revealed that she is a expecting a baby by posting a picture of a pair of child’s trainers next to a pair of adult sized shoes, and writing “I’ll be stuntin like my daddy…..”

The former X Factor judge is planning her next album, which she wants to make it a “visual album”, with a video for each track, similar to Beyonce’s self-titled album released last year. Perhaps her new arrival will play a part in the visual aspect.

Kelly married her manager, Tim Witherspoon, last month in Costa Rica. The loved-up pair, who have been dating since 2011, have already been spotted shopping for baby items, including the trainers Kelly used in her Instagram picture.

She joins a host of celebrities whose Instagram accounts have us coo-ing over sweet baby pictures, including her fellow Destiny's Child bandmate, Beyonce. She recently shared this snap of herself with daughter Blue Ivy Carter.

Kelly's method of showing her growing family with shoes may be a homage to a recent post by Kim Kardashian, showing the matching red trainers belonging to herself, her husband Kanye West, and baby North West.

Harper Beckham is no stranger to Instagram as well. Her mother Victoria posted this snap - one of our favourite Instagram posts ever - of her lapping up attention at New York Fashion Week last year.
