It's been confirmed that Keira Knightley is pregnant with her first child with her husband musician James Righton.
Speaking to Elle UK, a rep confirmed that the actress is expecting her first child but that she would not be making any further comment on the matter.
Page Six reported yesterday that multiple sources confirmed that the actress is expecting after she reportedly avoided alcohol at the Moët British Independent Spirit Awards on Sunday night.
Speaking to Vogue in 2013 on the future possibility of becoming a mother she said: “Would I want to be a stay-at-home mother? No. On the other hand, you should be allowed to do that, as should men, without being sneered at.”
As a star of this year's incredibly popular The Imitation Game, in which she stars with Benedict Cumberbatch, the A-lister has already picked up a Screen Actors Guild nomination for her portrayal of mathematician Joan Clarke.
Keira and James, who is the keyboard player for the Klaxons, married in the South of France on 4 May 2013. While the couple only had a small ceremony, the likes of Sienna Miller and Karl Lagerfeld attended the affair, and the bride wore a simple Chanel dress.
