It might be one of her most famous roles but actress Kate Winslet has said that the nude scene from Titanic still haunts her.

When she's presented by fans with a picture of the famous pose, she says that she doesn't even sign it.

On the matter, she said: “I don’t sign that one. It feels very uncomfortable. Why would you do that?

"People ask me to sign that one a lot, and actually there’s a photo of it as well that someone’s lifted from a still of the film.

“That photo gets passed around. It’s like, ‘No, I didn’t mean for it to be a photograph that I would end up seeing 17 years later.’

"It is still haunting me. It’s quite funny, really.”

Despite the fact that Winslet might not enjoy looking at the 17-year-old picture (above), one legacy that remains from the film (and one which she's happy about) is her friendship with Leonardo DiCaprio.

The two have remained close since they shot the film, with DiCaprio giving Winslet away at her third wedding to Ned Rocknroll, the nephew of Virgin boss Richard Branson.

The couple has recently welcomed a son, Bear Blaze, who was named after how they met, which was during a fire on Branson's Necker Island. Winslet famously rescued Branson's mother from the flames as the building fell down.

The star is also currently promoting her new film Divergent.
