While you’re searching for the perfect dress, organising your bridesmaids and rewriting that seating plan (yet again), another important part of planning your special day is, of course, the gift list. From varying your budgets to working out just how many presents to include on your list, nailing down a selection that’s fun, fair and accessible takes a lot more thought than you might anticipate. But one question remains: how do you go about choosing your gifts?

Enter Jennifer Lawrence, who has arrived on the scene to help you sort your wishes for your household appliances, garden furniture and dream honeymoon by way of her personally-curated wedding registry guide.

Ahead of her upcoming nuptials to art dealer Cooke Maroney, the Oscar-winning actress has teamed up with Amazon to share her wedding wish-list, featuring everything she’s currently got her eye on for her new home. 

“Planning a wedding is so exciting, but it can be overwhelming,” Lawrence said in a press release. “For anyone else needing a little inspiration, I thought it would be fun to collaborate with Amazon to share a few of my favourite registry wish-list items. It’s so easy, and you can find everything you need all in one place.”

If you’re in need of a little inspiration for your own gift guide, J-Law has got you covered. From kitchen essentials and dinner-party ideas, to living room luxuries and outdoor entertaining, the actress’ gift list has ideas for every room in the house. “With my schedule, sometimes there is nothing better than a quiet night at home,” Lawrence says, before sharing the items that make her home feel “cosy and organised, juts the way I like it.”

Interestingly, Lawrence has also included a range of lifestyle gifts specific to her career, like travel essentials (cosy cashmere clothes, a 4-in-1 adapter and a Kindle Paperwhite, in case you’re wondering), as well as an intriguingly named ‘Health & Wellness’ section, which features an aroma diffuser, a cork yoga mat, and a Turkish bath towel. 

“I travel a lot for work, and these are a few of the best items I’ve found over the years to help me arrive feeling refreshed and ready to explore,” the actress says. “Don’t leave for your honeymoon without them!”

Some of J-Law’s picks, admittedly, may raise an eyebrow - does one really need a marble rolling pin, a copper fire pit, or a hand blown whisky decanter featuring an etched globe design? Other finds, such as wine glasses, dinner plates and Le Creuset, are staple gift list choices, while you can definitely sense J-Law’s kookiness coming through with some of the choices, like the pink toaster, fairy lights and the velvet blankets.
