Janet Jackson has finally confirmed she is pregnant in a photoshoot for People magazine.

The 50-year-old singer called off her Unbreakable tour in April and released a video telling fans that she and her husband of four years, Wissam Al Mana, were planning a family.

She has kept a low profile since, but on Wednesday the star officially announced her happy news in the exclusive shot. Wearing a white dress and beige coat, a smiling Jackson is pictured holding her stomach.

"We thank God for our blessing," the singer says. No further details about the pregnancy have been released.

Jackson, who released a single called Dammn Baby a month after postponing her tour, is said to be "super excited" by the pregnancy, according to People.

"She is super excited about her pregnancy and is doing extremely well," a source close to the Jackson family told the magazine. "She actually feels very good about everything."

The singer married Al Mana, a 41-year-old Qatari businessman, in 2012 after meeting him at a Dubai hotel opening two years earlier. He has described her as "my dream woman."

Once upon a time, Kim Cattrall was a fresh-faced teen in a sweatshirt. Alter ego Samantha Jones would be proud...

We think Jamie Cullen should re-invent this blazer look. It's too sweet not to.
