Jamie Oliver and his wife, Jools, have finally announced the name of their fifth baby.
The 41-year-old celebrity chef had shared the news of his son's birth earlier this month, writing: “And then this just happened guys !! IT'S A BABY BOY !! Everyone in the Oliver family is very surprised and beyond happy.
“He arrived safely, mum @joolsoliver was really really amazing, unbelievably composed, natural birth and my two eldest Girls got to come in at the very end as the baby was born which was amazing to witness very very emotional.”
Since that day, the couple have shared a number of photographs of the youngest member of the Oliver family.
However, up until yesterday evening, they admitted that they had been unable to choose the perfect name for their newborn son.
“No name yet,” they repeatedly told fans on Instagram.
That all changed when Jools shared a photograph of a personalised print for her baby boy’s nursery.
It read: ‘Dream big, River.’
The gender neutral name, according to Nameberry, “shares the tranquil feeling of all the water names”, and has been “on the rise for both sexes the past few years, jumping more than 300 spots on the girls’ side of the list since 2012.”
Within half an hour of Jools sharing her post, it had received almost 2,000 likes as her followers rushed to comment on the chosen name.
"So original and beautiful,” wrote one.
Another added: "Beautiful and unique! Big love."
The couple are already parents to Poppy Honey Rose, 14, Daisy Boo Pamela, 12, Petal Blossom Rainbow, six, and five-year-old Buddy Bear Maurice.
Previously speaking to Gurgle, Jools insisted that she prefers to choose two names each for her children, as she enjoys letting her creative juices flow.
"They all have more than one name because I couldn't decide,” she said. “I'm not sure where Petal Rainbow came from – apparently it's a My Little Pony! I wanted to call her Rainbow but Jamie told me to calm down.
"With Buddy it was quite fun choosing a boy's name, as I hadn't done it before. And I hate people's opinions on names. Whatever you call your baby is your decision."
Knowing Jools’ fondness for doubling up on baby names, many of her Instagram followers have pointed out that she captioned the image with emojis of a rocket and a heart.
Could this mean that her son’s full name is, in fact, River Rocket?
The news comes mere months after the TV chef told chat show host Alan Carr he had been considering a vasectomy – although had changed his mind on account of his squeamishness and his wife not being keen.
