The disputed queen of Twitter has encouraged women everywhere to leave their grey hairs alone.
We can always rely on Chrissy Teigen to keep things real and honest (remember that “period skin” video?).
Which is why it comes as no surprise that she’s openly shared her “skunk-like” streak of grey hair, and has shared her love for the change.
“I have a skunk like streak of grey hair and I’m actually very into it. My Cruella dreams are coming true!,” Teigen wrote, referencing her now likeness to the Disney villain Cruella de Vil.
Teigen’s tweet has definitely struck a chord with social media users, with over 52,000 likes and 1,500 retweets.
More importantly, though, it has started an empowering new trend, with women sharing images of their own grey streaks followed by the hashtag #EmbraceTheGrey.
“I’ve had a natural white streak in my hair since I was 19. 13 years later I still love it,” one user wrote.
“ME TOO!,” another user wrote.
“#Twinning,” another user wrote.
“Same! I call it my villain hair?” another user asked.
One wrote: “I have this too! Been dying it most of my life but now I’m wishing I’d let it run free!”
“Heck, me too,” another posted.
