Chloe Sevigny gets a Carrie makeover for horror-themed shoot

A Christmassy photo shoot would be way too conventional for Chloe Sevigny. Instead, the fashion-forward, too-cool-for-school US actress is taking us back to a Halloween vibe with an arty impersonation of cult horror icon Carrie for Paper magazine.

Drenched in blood and staring manically into the camera, prom queen crown perched on her head, the 41-year-old is recreating Sissy Spacek's famously gory Carrie scene to promote her new film #Horror, a modern day scary movie about cyberbullying.

The flick was written by actress and first-time director Tara Subkoff and tells the tale of a group of spoiled 12-year-old girls who are punished heavily for their addiction to a social networking game.

Such is Chloe's appreciation of the movie version of Stephen King's supernatural horror novel, she took part in the blood-splattered spread hours before she was due at the airport to catch a flight.

Chloe's is one of four covers for the mag's Fandemonium issue, with Paris Hilton, Pretty Little Liars star Lucy Hale and Marc Jacobs' dog Neville gracing the other three spreads.
