Beyoncé Knowles and her husband Jay Z have recently purchased a huge mansion in New Orleans.
The converted Presbyterian church and former ballet school was built in 1925 and set the power couple back $2.6 million (£1.6 million),
The building is divided into one main residence with three apartments (each of them approximately 1,000 sq ft). You can access the main residence on Harmony Street, while the apartments are accessed by the 8th Street.
According to Zillow, where the property was originally listed, the master suite is large but cozy. Attached to the main suite is a huge walk-in closet with a full length mirror and on the other side is the master bath with an antique tub and walk-in shower. There are also three large main front windows located in the room, which, combined with the 16 ft ceiling make it a huge grand space.
Another feature of the house is the huge rooftop garden that offer views of downtown New Orleans, the surrounding neighbourhood and the Mississippi River Bridge. It's also the ideal location for Mardi Gras, with easy access to banks, a fresh markets, pharmacies, great restaurants, bookstores, and entertainment venues.
As for the rest of the house, there's a kitchen with a Viking stove top, refrigerator and double ovens, and there's even an outer kitchen with walls you can move to make one huge party room with a big screen TV and surround sound stereo.
The main unit also features hardwood floors, high ceilings, floor to ceiling columns. The split level feature also offers more privacy - a concern for the Carters who are one of the most photographed families in the world.
But perhaps one of our favourite descriptions of the place is that there are "all kinds of nooks and crannies to hide with a book".
As well as houses in New York and LA, the couple can now add this incredible house to their portfolio. Ideal for spending time with Beyonce's sister Solange Knowles who currently lives part-time in New Orleans (she spends the other half in New York) with her husband Alan Ferguson who she married last year.
