Fresh off the back of Hello and the release of her album, Adele kicked off January 2016 at the top of the charts and primed to scoop gongs at The Brits, the Billboards, the Ivor Novello Awards and more.
She also joined James Corden behind the wheel for the best Late, Late Show Carpool Karaoke episode we’ve ever seen, and that’s what’s earned the singer yet another accolade.
Blasting bloggers, vloggers and even Beyonce out of the water, Adele’s singalong video (which you can watch again below) has just been crowned the most popular video of the year on Youtube - globally.

Kicking off with Adele downing a full cup tea, the video sees the pair belting out Hello, Rolling In The Deep and Someone Like You, with the singer even rapping along to Nicki Minaj's Monster during the dive around London.
There was the brilliant Spice Girls Wannabe moment too, of course.
Having now sold an incredible 9.1 million copies of 25, Adele has beaten Justin Bieber, Drake, Beyonce and Rihanna to land the top spot.
After a monster year, however, the star has said that she’ll now be taking it easy for a while on the career front, to focus on her private life.
While winding down her tour in Phoenix, Arizona last month, the outspoken singer also revealed that she may be planning to expand her family with partner Simon Konecki, candidly telling fans at the end of the show: “I’m going to go and have another baby.”
