From ‘leaning in’ to finding a brilliant mentor, you’d be forgiven for thinking that women believe their greatest goals in 2018 are confined within their careers.

Thankfully, we’ve got a lot of accomplishments firmly in our sights. According to a survey of 2,000 British women by My Nametags, not only do we want a well-paid job but we also want to feel content living on our own.

While achieving financial security (54%) and being happy (49%) are obvious priorities for people, there was one personal goal that stood out: women helping other women. That’s right, 39% of women surveyed believe empowering other women is a great accomplishment.

Enter one well-loved quote: “There’s a special place in hell for women who don’t help any other women.”

Coined decades ago by US politician Madeleine Albright, it has been tweeted, shared and liked by many a woman of today.
