Woman trolled by sexists for stomach hair, receives flurry of love from the internet

A photograph of a woman’s stomach has gone viral because some people cannot handle that a female body might naturally come with hair on it.
Suraiya, who uses the Twitter handle, @iranikanjari and goes by the name pakola papi, posted a photograph of herself over Christmas, wearing her new Walmart underwear, with the caption "Walmart underwear vibes", in which you can see her perfectly normal stomach and thighs.
Soon after she posted the tweet, Suraiya was met with a barrage of hateful tweets, in which people appeared to be shocked and repulsed that a woman had not decided to wax her entire body, even…her stomach?
In a vicious display of misogyny, internet trolls told her to shave, to cover up, that she was 'yuck', and that she looked like a man.
We wonder why none of these people had anything better to do over Christmas.

But, for every hateful tweet the internet threw out, @iranikanjari was met with streams of love and appreciation from people who were thrilled to finally see an honest image of a woman’s body online, free from photoshop or impossible beauty standards.
The tweets below reaffirmed our faith in humanity.
Responding to the furore, Suraiya told i100 that:
“For any hate I received I got the same amount of love back. And that’s what made it totally worth it. […] If women want to embrace shaving, then shave, if they want to embrace being hairy- awesome.
I’m tired of constantly seeing women being put in a position of helplessness with their bodies. The narrative belongs to us, and so do the choices we make within the narrative.”
Now that’s how to hit back at body-shamers.
