As of this month, naturists are banned from Holkham Beach, Norfolk, so Visit England has put together an alternative list of venues where clothes are not welcome...

If you like the idea of streaking, join hundreds of other naked runners at ZSL London Zoo on 15th August. The zoo is organising the charity run to raise funds for rapidly depleting Sumatran tigers in the wild. Hurry though, places are filling up fast.

Enjoy a cultural celebration of the naked form with life drawing, while naked.

Hen Life Drawing rents out male models by the hour for groups to practise their life drawing skills, while naturist accommodation such as four star Pevors Farm Cottages in Essex, lets guests go starkers on its 400 acres of meadow and bluebell woodland.

If you prefer to spectate rather than participate, there's a chance to see Oscar-winning The Full Monty in the West End.

The play about steel workers-turned strippers opens next year but best book now, the regional shows were sell-outs.

Be truly at one with nature - in an English country garden. Abbey House Gardens in Wiltshire frequently holds 'Clothes Optional' days; the next one is on 28th July.
