A hilarious video of a man being interrupted by his kids as he’s interviewed live on air is going viral on social media.

The clip of the BBC World interview, which aired this morning, shows the man talking directly to camera as he sits in what appears to be a home study.

The topic of discussion is impeachment in South Korea, and the man is talking live over Skype to an interviewer in the studio.

Then, as the man is mid sentence, this happens:

The girl, assumed to be his daughter, then dances her way towards the camera:

She proudly joins her dad on screen:

In an unexpected twist another child – this time a baby – also enters the room:

Then the man is interrupted yet again by the sudden arrival of a shocked looking woman:

Clearly taking on the role of the hero in this story, the woman saves the day by rounding up the children and sweeping them out of the room (although judging by the loud wailing sounds, this hasn’t gone down too well with the kids)

All in all, not a bad day in the office...

The video has since gone viral online, with people taking to Twitter to share their love of the geniusly-timed clip.

“That ‘kids interrupting news’ clip has made me ascend a new level of laugh-crying-howling so hard it feels things might come out of my eyes,” wrote Caitlin Moran.

“This is a fantastically arranged Skype interview. Looks professional. Really good....until the kids arrive,” added the BBC’s Daniel Sandford.
