Lana Del Rey has revealed the music video for Summertime Sadness, the fifth song from her hit album Born To Die. Watch the video below.
Starring actress Jaime King alongside singer Del Rey, Summertime Sadness is a sepia-soaked tale of a love in turmoil, with the video switching between happy scenes between King and Del Rey, and moments of sadness, culminating in the pair taking a suicidal leap into clouds of smoke.
Directed by King’s husband Kyle Newman, the film noir-ish Summertime Sadness promo features plenty of Instagram-inspired shots (as well as lots of seductive pouting from Ms Del Rey), and has the singer’s distinctive ‘gangster Nancy Sinatra’ style written all over it.
