Grab your diary and block out October 13-16, because you are definitely not going to want to miss this year's Stylist Live.
Taking place at the Business Design Centre in Angel, London, this year's event will include 150 inspiring talks and workshops across seven stages, over 100 boutique pop-ups and the unmissable Stylist AW 2016 trends catwalk show. There will also be a huge range of food offerings from Feast Street and the Farmers’ Market, as well as free beauty, skincare, make-up and nail offerings, and a complimentary Chambord cocktail for every visitor. A limited number of early bird tickets will be on sale this Friday, with prices starting at £15.
The line-up, which has just been announced, includes inspirational women such as Caitlin Moran, Sali Hughes, Jo Malone, Thomasina Miers, Gizzi Erskine, Sara Pascoe, and many more.
Talks and workshops at this years event will cover topics such as 'the bad motherhood revolution', how to write your first novel, growing your business through Instagram, living single, and the first ever exclusive live versions of our Ask A Feminist column.
Due to overwhelming demand in 2015, this year’s event will be even bigger than last year's. The capacity for popular talks and workshops has been increased, giving more Stylist Live guests the opportunity to attend their choice of inspirational discussions. The fabulous Stylist catwalk show – supported by Swarovski – will run regularly each day, and for the second year in a row will feature key AW 16 trends and high street style ideas. Make-up partner Urban Decay will be creating the seasonal make-up look for the runway, and will also be on hand to provide expert tips and on-trend advice to guests. In addition to all of this, Dyson, creators of the new Supersonic hairdryer, and official hair partner of Stylist Live, will be hosting talks from their own personal stage which comes complete with its very own blow bar.
For those who prefer hands-on creative workshops, this year guests will also have the chance to make and customise a range of gifts and homewares at the Create Lab hosted by Not On The High Street. In another interactive workshop you'll even be able to discover the secrets of coding, as the CEO of Code First: Girls, Amali de Alwis, shows how learning to code can open up a whole new world and career.
You'll definitely want to leave some time for shopping too, as a selection of handpicked retailers will be showcasing their latest products and providing exclusive samples and offers for guests - names on the list include Clarins, Elemis, Rituals, This Works, Katie Leamon, House of Sunny and Whistle & Banjo.
When it's time to refresh and refuel, look no further than Feast Street and the Farmers’ Market, where vendors including The House of Peroni, Toastits and Crosstown Doughnuts will be ready to quench your thirst and satisfy your hunger.
