Nineties kids, the nostalgic music tour of your dreams is coming

Prepare to relive all your wildest teenage dreams.

It’s Saturday evening, you and your friends are getting ready to go out and as usual, there’s a nostalgic playlist blaring from someone’s phone.

No doubt it features some of the greats: we’re talking S Club, B*Witched, 5ive and maybe even a little Booty Luv.

Sure, there’s some good music being created in 2019 (hello Ariana Grande, who seems to do no wrong) but there’s also something special about listening to songs that take us back to simpler days, when all we had to worry about was which stretchy tattoo choker to wear and if our eyebrows were thin enough.

As well as bringing a wry smile to our faces, they always get us up dancing, and in the party mood. Who can resist throwing a spread palm into the air when chanting “everybody get up singing, 1, 2, 3, 4…”?

So, can you imagine our excitement, when we heard that a whole host of our favourite Nineties and Noughties bands will be jumping straight off our most-played list and onto the stage. Starting in October 2019, and travelling around the country for two months, icons from two decades of music will come together for the first time to perform.

Stepback! 90s Vs 00s will feature 5ive, B*Witched, S Club, Fatman Scoop, East 17, Blazing Squad, Big Brovas, Booty Luv and 911 for a night that will take you back in time.

The much-loved bands will be performing some of their biggest hits, and according to promoter Dan Nelmes, it’s set to be a show stopper. He says: “The appetite for nostalgia has never been stronger, and we are thrilled to present this full-on throwback fest across UK Arenas this autumn. It will be a glamorous, action-packed extravaganza with no skimping on the sequins or dance moves. Stepback! 90s Vs 00s is going to be unmissable for any pop fan - a retro party like never before!”

So far, dates have been released for Manchester, Newcastle, Brimingham, Glasgow, Milton Keynes, Bournemouth and Leeds – but there could be more to follow.

Tickets are priced between £39-£45 and some early bird releases have sold out already. To find out more, check here.

After all, there ain’t no party like an S Club party, is there?
