A restaurant in Soho has had its full-English-in-brioche dish named this year's most innovative breakfast.
Bunnychow, on Wardour Street serves all its food in South African 'bunnies', the brioche-style buns with the middle scooped out and stuffed with a variety of different fillings from meatballs to pulled pork.
Their eye-catching breakfast was given the Most Innovative Breakfast award as part of the National Breakfast Awards, during (you guessed it) National Breakfast Week.
TV chef Phil Vickery gave the prize to the CEO of Bunnychow CEO, Atholl Milton on Wednesday.
Milton told Stylist.co.uk "we put a lot of thought and preparation into the Breakfast Bunny so we're really pleased to have won the award - our Chef Finn cures the bacon and makes the black pudding and it's a real labour of love. Hopefully even more people can now enjoy the bunny as we're serving it all day."
He also said "Everyone loves a hot breakfast so we wanted to take our South African heritage of using the loaf and then packing it full of fresh breakfast produce. Since we opened three months ago the Full English Bunny has been popular with the local office workers and commuters on the hop. We're delighted they are now award-winning!"
