With the London Olympics done and dusted, the Paralympics set to be over just as quickly, and the Queen’s Diamond Jubilee and last year’s Royal Wedding fading to a distant memory, all we have to look forward to is a cold, dark and endless winter – and possibly the end of the world if a new Mayan Countdown Clock is to be believed.
The Mayan Countdown Clock from thumbsUp! counts down to the apocalypse, set to be 21 December 2012 according to the calculations of the ancient Mayan civilisation.
However, if this year’s apocalypse goes the way of last October’s warnings – i.e. the world doesn’t end – the Mayan Countdown Clock can be easily reset to countdown to another big event. Perhaps something a little less depressing, like Rio 2016 maybe?
The Mayan Countdown Clock is available now, on pre-order from iwantoneofthose.com for £9.99.
