Last week, we told you about the conference coming to London in September, that discusses the effect HBO’s iconic show had on society, feminism and female friendship - fuelled by Cosmopolitans, naturally. 

This week, we can reveal the exciting news that a 90s New York-style brunch is hitting the capital in August, themed on - you guessed it- Sex and the City. 

This year is the 20th anniversary of the series that made many of us fall in love with New York, and dream of growing up in a world where we could afford Manolo Blahniks, brunch with our girl friends every day and live in a brownstone apartment…with no roommates. We said dream, didn’t we?

Well, at this new event, as least one part of that fantasy can become a reality. Created by the team behind Hip Hop Brunch London (award winners of the 2016, 2017 and 2018 London Club and Bar awards), this bottomless brunch spectacular is completely inspired by the famous four and the fabulous era the show began in. 

From a Nineties playlist to a dress up box of Carrie Bradshaw-style outfits (which you are, of course, invited to try on and strut around in), there’s be more than free-flowing cocktails to keep you entertained. 

The event will run from 12-5pm, within that time you and your best friends can enjoy a three-course-meal, and an hour of bottomless Cosmopolitans. As well as lots and lots of dancing, though, there’ll also be some organised fun in the form of a Samantha/Charlotte quiz.

Guests are invited to come dressed as their favourite Sex and the City character (we’re sold on this factor alone) and there’ll be alcoholic prizes for the best dressed, which is what we think Carrie would have wanted. 

The brunch is only happening on selected dates, with the next being 4 August, and tickets are said to sell out quite quickly. You can see more information and bag yourself some here.
