It was only a matter of time... with Fifty Shades mania sweeping the world this summer, publishers and brands alike have been quick to cash in on the selling power of erotic phenomena.

With more "mummy porn" follow-ups than we care to think of and a hotel that's swapped its bedside Bibles for editions of EL James' kinky tome, it seems everyone wants a piece of the Fifty Shades pie.

Now you can literally drink up the adventures of Christian Grey and co., courtesy of a new cocktail created by The Donovan Bar at Rocco Forte’s Brown’s Hotel.

"A suite at Brown’s Hotel near Piccadilly" appears in the third of EL James' trilogy and in honour of this fact, Brown's has muddled up the exotic drink "to recreate the passion shared by the now world famous fictional couple."

A Shade of Grey features a heady mix of Chase vodka, Akashi plum sake infused with chilli, fresh passion fruit and lemon juice - along with a decadent Lady Grey macaroon on the side.

Guests are invited to enjoy the potent concoction in "the naughty corner" of the hotel bar, surrounded by "risqué photographs" from Terence Donovan.

Not one for your average work drinks, perhaps - but it might make a fun night out...
