Summer may be over, but that means Halloween is well and truly on the horizon. And is there anything better to come out of October than mulled cider, toffee apples, ghost stories, incredible costumes and ghoulish decorated pumpkins?
The answer is a resounding ‘yes’: Krispy Kreme have only gone and announced that they’re bringing out an extra-special (and extra-spooky) range of doughnuts, just in time for those October celebrations.
From eerie eyeballs and complicated cobwebs, to terrifying Mummies and haunting sprinkles, the lip-licking range is basically the edible version of a Ghostbusters and Stranger Things mash-up.
And, with four limited-edition doughnuts to pick from, they’re the ideal sweet treat for the darkest of souls out there.

1) Spooky Sprinkles
Spooky Sprinkles features the signature ring doughnut hand-dipped in chocolate icing and topped with green, orange and brown sprinkles, for £1.65.
2) The Cobweb
Hand-dipped in chocolate icing and filled with delicious-sounding kreme, The Cobweb is finished with a Halloween-coloured orange web – complete with a black widow spider for £1.90.
3) The Eyeball
Made with a ring doughnut, and topped with white icing, The Eyeball is rather freaky with its red iced veins for £1.90.
4) The Mummy
For £1.90, The Mummy features a brownie batter wrapped in slime green icing and bound in white iced bandages.
The limited-edition range will be available from Krispy Kreme stores across the UK from 13 – 31 October.
