A physicist-turned-chef has invented the world's first colour-changing ice cream - and it's made from "entirely natural ingredients".
Xamaleon, meaning chameleon, transforms from blue to pink as it's licked and reportedly tastes just like mixed fruits.
Manuel Linares said that he was inspired by the award-winning food inventor Charlie Francis, who created the world's first glow in the dark ice cream last year.

"I am a huge fan of the British ice cream genius Charlie Francis, the creator of a fluorescent ice and founder of the company Lick Me Delicious and I wanted to create an ice cream that changed colour to try and do something new as well," Linares told Spanish newspaper Diari de Girona.
The 37-year-old, who came up with the dish for his master thesis in ice cream making, is keeping the chameleon recipe a closely guarded secret, although he is adamant there are no chemicals in the dish.
"It was important to me to make sure I only used natural ingredients, so it took a bit longer," he told Spanish newspaper Diari de Girona. "And as to the trick, I am not giving out too much detail because the patents are still going through."
While Linares has yet to find an international buyer for his invention, business is booming at his ice cream parlour in Calella de Mar, Barcelona.
He also hinted that the Chameleon may be the first in a long line of colour-changing food.
"Any food can change colour, depending on temperature and oxidation," Sploid reported Linares as saying.
