Here at Stylist.co.uk, we’ve always been dedicated to bringing you the best gin-related news as and when it happens (we’re just nice like that).

In the past, we’ve celebrated our shared love of mother’s ruin by reporting on scientific research, recipes and events, including the opening of the gin hotel and the upcoming gin cruise.

And now, dear reader, we write with even more exciting news: a whole series of gin and vodka festivals are set to launch in the UK this summer.

The (brilliant) idea is the brainchild of the appropriately-named Gin Vodka Co., who specialise in – you guessed it – gin and vodka.

The company are going to be touring the UK from May to August and setting up festivals to celebrate our collective adoration of the two spirits, in areas including Leeds, Cardiff, Cheltenham and Chester.

Each festival will host tasting sessions, live music, masterclasses and food, so you can indulge your love of gin and vodka with like-minded friends and friends-to-be.

Tickets cost £10 each and include entry, a souvenir glass, a booklet and four free bar samples.

Brilliantly, you’ll also get a free pen (with the words “I love gin” stamped across it, of course).
