At the end of a long day at work, the last thing we want to do is think about dinner and spend hours following a complex recipe in the kitchen.
We'll often search the fridge for leftovers and if that fails, we settle for beans on toast. But cooking a delicious meal doesn't have to be a lengthy process.
With just five ingredients, these recipes are exciting, colourful and full of flavour. From Malaysian coconut noodles to chicken stuffed jacket potatoes, many of these recipes allow room to throw in vegetables you're trying to use up or meat leftover from a Sunday roast.
And the best part is there's very little measuring and buying of ingredients you'll never use again involved. Here's to more free hours in the evening!
Please note: cooking oil, salt, pepper and some other optional items are not included in the list of five ingredients
