Is there anything better than the moment when your favourite piece of pop culture becomes an edible delight? Well, we have good news for all of the Beauty and the Beast fans out there, because delving into a delicious Disney-themed delight is now an actual real dining experience.
The aptly named Beauty and the Feast officially launches this Friday (6 October) at The Vaults in south London. And, unsurprisingly, the experience looks set to be an all-round French-inspired extravaganza.
From très bien cocktails to a three-course feast, the romantically fun evening of culinary cabaret, designed by Darling and Edge, is sure to satisfy many a Disney fanatic. However, it’s less about the food, and more about the entertainment: prepare yourself for an evening of chaos as dancers take to tables and chandeliers start to swing – all whilst being served by the fairy godmother, also known as Fairy Liquid.
The dress code is optional. But, if you opt to become a fine French dresser for the night, think: “Old school ruffs with neon tufts. Velvet and tails and killer nails.”
In short, it’s all about playing the part of Belle for one night only, as the magic of the castle comes to life once more.
And there are more than a few magical surprises in store for anyone who steps inside.
If you’d love nothing more than to be their guest, be their guest (and ut their service to the test), you’d better be quick: tickets are selling out fast.
Beauty and the Feast is available for a limited time only, running from 6 October 2017 until 14 January 2018 - with the show kicking off at 7:30pm (but they kindly ask you arrive at 7pm). Tickets are priced at £45, and you can book them here.
