Re-imagined Disney movie posters

At Stylist HQ, many an office debate begins with the words: which is your favourite Disney movie?

While you could argue the films are just for kids, that doesn't mean we can't appreciate the exquisite and ground-breaking animation that Walt's studio has been creating for over 90 years.

Clearly we're not the only ones who understand the brilliance of Disney, as a set of top artists have been commissioned to re-imagine 25 Disney and Pixar movie posters.

As part of this year's SXSW film festival for its 'Nothing's Impossible' exhibition, Austin's Mondo Gallery asked illustrators to come up with art for Disney movies, including Beauty and the Beast, The Lion King, The Jungle Book, Up, and Wall-E.

The gallery also collaborated with the Oh My Disney blog, which is showcasing all of the artwork here. Currently, you can buy some of the artwork over on the Mondo gallery website, although unsurprisingly, a lot seems to have sold out.

The exhibition has now finished but we suggest you watch your favourite Disney movie to make you feel better.
