They say that having an office dog can boost productivity, alleviate stress, and help to forge better connections among team members – so imagine how good it must be to have six puppies join your team.
Taiwan's National Police Agency (NPA) recently confirmed that one of the 22 adult dogs in their K-9 unit has given birth to six beautiful pups. And, yes, these tiny crime fighters will be training up to join the team in the not-so-distant future.
More importantly, though, the police force decided to stage a photo shoot to announce the news to the public, and we’re not ashamed to admit that it is genuinely so cute it makes our hearts hurt.

“The puppies’ mom, named Yellow, is in the K-9 unit [...] the department that [deals with] anti-drug and anti-bomb [issues],” a spokesperson told Mashable. “We will train the puppies to join our police duties.”
In case you were wondering (and don’t pretend you weren’t), the pups are named Lucky Star, Schumann, Feida, Brother, AJ and Full Moon. And according to a Facebook post by the NPA, these little pooches are as “innocent” as “newly born children” – but more than prepared for a life of fighting crime.
“We hope that, in the future, the puppies can be like their mother Yellow, that they can pass through training successfully and enter the police force,” it reads.

We’d quite like to see a film about these two crime fighters, to be honest.

Puppy love
Try not to yawn while you’re looking at this little pup yawning (although, fair warning, if you find it easy not to, you’re probably a psychopath)…
