Stop everything and pay attention, because the foodie combo festival of our dreams has been made reality.

That’s right: pizza and prosecco (a duo we thought was reserved only for girls’ nights in at our humble abodes) is finally getting the country-wide recognition it deserves.

The sacred double-P pairing is being celebrated with an extras-special event which is touring its way around the UK, which can only mean one thing: melted cheese and bubbles for everyone.

The festival will frequent 15 lucky towns while spreading foodie fun, including Liverpool, Manchester, Reading and Bristol.

The festival’s Facebook page promises attendees copious delights, including plenty of foodie pop-ups, 20 different types of prosecco, sparkling champagne cocktails and, of course, lots and lots of pizza.

But don’t be fooled – this festival won’t just cater to your taste buds. In fact, it thoughtfully caters for your vocal chords too, with sing-a-long pop classics and live music all day.
