As excitement reaches fever pitch ahead of the 86th Academy Awards this weekend, the viral world has come alive with a series of handy Oscar-related infographics.

Hot on the heels of the best Oscar dress infographic comes this rather fabulous best picture infographic from the folks at Beutler Ink, showing every film to have scooped the Academy's most prestigious award since 1929.

From silent movie The Artist to Danny Boyle's Slumdog Millionaire, 1930s classic Gone With The Wind to blockbuster hit Titanic , and 1982 biopic Gandhi to The Godfather starring Marlon Brando, it reads like an A-Z of movie masterpieces over the past 90 years.

Each best picture winner is detailed with a nifty illustration. The films are listed in small print at the bottom of the infographic, but even better, you can put your big-screen knowledge to the test and see how many you can guess from the icons alone.

This year's best picture Oscar nominees including The Wolf of Wall Street and 12 Years A Slave, are also featured.

"We created this poster commemorating the best picture winners over time: one icon per film, and one for each of this year's nominees," said Beutler Ink in a statement on Facebook. "Better still: once the winner is announced during the Oscars on March 2, we'll update this poster and make it available to own."

How many films can you guess? Let quiz time commence!
