If there's one thing that's a guaranteed internet win, it's a video which combines an appearance from a micro pig, a fluffy kitten and a tiny puppy. So, naturally, one clever advertising company has created just that in a bid to win over fans this Christmas.

Yep, biscuit giant McVitie’s have unveiled their Christmas advert and prepare yourself for a serious dose of cute.

The newly-released clip features 11 baby animals climbing out of a Christmas biscuit tin, including a pug, a Persian kitten, a micro-pig, an Alaskan Malamute puppy, a duckling, a baby hedgehog, a baby reindeer.

And for good measure, there's a tiny narwhal hiding in the punch bowl.

Each one barks, squeaks or snorts along to a rendition of 80's hit "Only You" by British synthpop duo Yazoo (also known as Yaz).

The animal musical ends with the punchline "sweeet" to symbolise the contents of the Victoria biscuit selection tin.

The campaign cost McVitie’s £1million to make and it's the first Christmas advert in 30 years for the brand, who have been baking biscuits from Chocolate Digestives to Jaffa Cakes since 1830.

The cute theme follows in the line of a range of adverts released earlier this year featuring animals popping out of biscuit packets. At the time, Nils Leonard, creative officer at Grey London, the advertising agency behind the videos, said, "We loved the idea that one word could encompass everything these biscuits might mean, but that each biscuit would have a different kind of Sweeet."

"We also wanted a cinematic way to evoke the feeling of McVitie's. A way to create unique experiences that brought to life the different feelings each of the biscuits creates. Nailing the essence of each biscuit was critical, so we ate loads of them to help the creative process."

Tell us your verdict of the advert below. Is it sickly sweet or ridiculously cute?
