Did you imagine watching IT Chapter 2 in the cinema would be bad? Well, this immersive experience is taking the horror to a terrifying new level.
IT Chapter 2 hasn’t been released yet, but we already think it’s become something of a horror legend. Of course, there’s the fact that the story has been adapted for cinema from legendary horror writer Stephen King’s book, It, a genius known for his ability to scare. And that the first film in the franchise went down an absolute storm. In fact even now, two years later, the film boasts a cool 85% ‘fresh’ rating Rotten Tomatoes.
From the 1990 acclaimed TV series of the same name to the hype surrounding the new film, it seems that every time the story is reignited, the flame burns brighter than ever. So it makes sense that IT Chapter 2 has been developed even further, this time into a terrifying immersive experience that sets out to bring the story, quite literally, to life.
The Vaults in Waterloo is an underground warren of tunnels and rooms, famous for holding immersive events and with its darkened passages and sloping ceilings is a suitably bone-chilling place to scare the living daylights out of Londoners.

If being terrorised by an evil children’s entertainer is your thing, you can apply for tickets to creep down into the 11,000 square feet of disused railway tunnels which will be filled with bespoke sets from the film, and follow the daring footsteps of The Losers Club to see what awaits you. There will be nine different themed areas to explore, each one designed to fully immersive you in the horrifying world of Pennywise the clown.
To keep the jump factor as high as possible, all further details are being kept firmly under wraps. Which means that attendees will be kept very much in the dark.
