Prepare to laugh, relate and feel better about your bog standard holiday snaps.

A couple have created their own comic take on Instagram's famous #FollowMeTo hand-holding couple, whose glamorous and romantic travel photos have won them more than 4 million followers and generally raised the bar on travel selfies and relationship goals.

Photographer Murad Osmann is behind the captivating account, which depicts him following his wife Natalia Zakharova around the world in a series of beautifully glossy images.

The Russian duo's formula is relatively simple but outrageously effective - she is photographed from behind, wearing a stunning outfit and hairdo, as she leads her unseen husband by the hand to some of the world's most beautiful landmarks.

Their extreme cuteness is, of course, ripe for parody.

Forrest Lu and Agnes Chien, a Taiwanese couple on holiday in Hawaii, have obliged with a considerably less idealistic take on the #FollowMe trend.

They show Forrest looking pleadingly into the camera as he is dragged to the island's various tourist attractions by his partner.

The couple's photo series has been liked 137,000 times and shared by more than 40,000 people on Facebook.
