Queen of Halloween Heidi Klum hosted her 20th annual party for the spooky season, but what did she dress up as?
Heidi Klum is basically Halloween in human form. For the past 20 years, the model and entrepreneur has hosted the most famous annual Halloween party in Hollywood. Each year, her outfits get bigger and scarier, putting everyone else’s fancy dress efforts to shame with costumes that literally take her hours to get into. In the past, she’s transformed herself into Jessica Rabbit, Fiona from Shrek, a skinned human body, a robot, Kali the Hindu goddess, Betty Boop and, of course, a cat.
So, what did Klum dress up as this year?
The TV host shared her transformation on her Instagram feed, throughout the eight-hour process. It actually took place in an Amazon Prime bookstore window in New York in front of crowds of (slightly confused) people.
But despite the undeniable fact that the costume is incredible, it’s hard to say exactly what she actually dressed up as…
She looks like a sort of cyborg alien that’s been poorly stitched back together after having its guts ripped out. Some fans on Instagram suggested that the look was based on the aliens in the film Species. Others guessed that it was a cyborg bride, while another went for a take on Frankenstein.
Either way – it was incredibly impressive and really, really creepy. Bravo, Klum!
The party was then held at Cathédrale at the Moxy East Village hotel, where Klum revealed the completed look in front of party guests. They included fellow fancy dres fanatic Mariah Carey, Queer Eye star Jonathan Van Ness and models Martha Hunt and Anokyai.
Let’s take a look at what they all wore:

And that’s Halloween finished until next year. And who the hell knows what Klum will pull out of the bag for 2020? We can’t wait to see.
